Just a reminder that the closing date for registering is August the 1st, 2022. Yes that’s one full month before the start of the Malaysian Chess Festival 2022.
Why? I am not sure but I’ve been told to announce and remind people of this. It may be that entries are reaching the target number and the organisers are comfortable closing registration even if it’s a month before the event.
In the past, closing dates have been often extended but that’s just my observation. Also even if extended, there may be penalties for late registration. So to be safe , please register before August 1st.
