The Malaysian team to play in the coming 44th Chess Olympiad in Chennai was confirmed on 23rd June 2022 by Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF)
According to announcement on their website, the Open and Women section, Malaysia is sending 5 players each.
Also accompanying the players will be MCF officials headed by Muhammad Firdaus Ismail as Head of Delegation, with FM Sumant Subramaniam acting as the Open Team Manager and IM Mok Tze Meng as the Women Team Manager.
The Open team members are:

The Women’s Team members are:
sisters WIM Puteri Munajjah and WFM Puteri Rifqah

The National squad is already to departed to India on 27th July 2022 and return back to Malaysia on 11th August 2022. We wish the Malaysian squad the best and Good Luck!!
